| Introducing my new little guy He's not home yet. I have to still wait (impatiently) several more weeks. He is a two week old yorkiepoo. I don't condone breeding mixes and would never support a breeder who does so, but this little guy is a rescue. The lady who has him now adopted an toy poodle from an elderly lady who said that she was spayed... well surprise...she wasn't! Here he is as a newborn (he's the little brindle guy) second from right http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...R/mypuppy1.jpg Mom with pups, my little guy is hiding under her leg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...R/mypuppy2.jpg A week old: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...BabySlade1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...BabySlade3.jpg His name is Slade. Still working on a first/middle name. right now i'm thinking "Okeechobee Slade" or "Jaeger Slade". He was the runt of the litter at only 3 ozs. Mom is 6 lbs and dad is 4lbs. I'm sooo excited but soo nervous about bringing him home. I've been reading up on hypoglycemia and that scares me! I wish I could be with him 24/7 but unfortunately I have college classes. His big sister who is a brindle pit bull is looking very forward to his arrival as well! |

| Congrats on your little boy! What an adventure seeing what he will turn out to look like! Glad you were able to give him a home -- hope the others get a chance to be loved as much. They really could use a blanket in that clothes basket though!

| Thanks guys! I have no idea what he's going to look like either! I'm very anxious to watch him mature and get his longer hair. I think the black will fade in with the brown and he'll end up being a chocolately color. I'm so glad his foster mom is emailing me pics. I made a scrapbook for my pit bull of all her puppy pics, though she was adopted from a shelter so I only have pics of her after she was 5 wks old. With Slade I'll have pics from the very beginning. She's sending me new pics as soon as he opens his eyes. I've been puppy shopping to get things ready. I'm thinking of buying a pack 'n play for him rather than a crate. Any thoughts on that? which would be better to do? |

| Oh yea, they aren't in the clothes basket anymore. At least not from the new pics I got. They are on a nice plush mat now. I think she just had them in there while she was cleaning up the regular area. |
