| Hi Hi I'm a new yorkie mom! My little Lily is 9wks old and has melted our hearts!. I have one question? Her ears are about halfway up is that about right? |

| Hi and welcome to YT. Sounds about right. Buddy had one ear erect and the other was not quite up. Keep the hair cut short on the ears until they pop up then keep 1/3 of the ear at the top shaved close to keep the weight from making them come down.You will like it here. | True that! Let me get some good experience in and I'll be more than happy too!!! one small tip: always brash your baby out really good before a bath,if there's any kind of knots or mats, water just tightens them up terribly and use a product called (the stuff) to help remove knots(detangler). |

| Welcome Hi there and welcome! This is a wonderful site....so many wonderful and knowledgable people. Love your baby's name.....that was my girl's name..Lily, same spelling and everything. She passed away in Nov. but left us some beautiful babies...our's are 13 weeks old and their ears never fell completely. One ear would stay bent for about a week, then it would come back up. All of their ears are erect now. Like I said, welcome and I really hope you like it here....this site is the bomb!!! |

I'm sorry to here about your Lily this is a great site, especially when you want so many different opions!!! it helps!. yeah,lily's ears are about half way up and I'm massaging them and keeping shaved and I was told to put a little piece of med. tape inside to help them stay up, but lily wasn't having it! so we'll wait and see!. regardless she's my little baby girl! |
