So, I finally decided to give Jaden a trim and do a modified "puppy cut". I'm going to let his coat grow out full length but I think I'm going to keep his face like this for a while. It's so much easier for him and he can see without hairs falling from his band and getting in his eyes and everytime he drinks his beard doesn't get sopping wet.

I've never actually cut hair before of any kind so I was a little terrified doing it but I think it turned out all right. I think the look expresses his personality better

I love his little cheeks now! Too cute!

Anyway, here's a before and after, hope you guys like it as much as Jaden does!

How did you managed to get him to sit still? I have the hardest time with Izzy. I cant touch his head without him twisting and moving around.

Maybe because he is still a puppy...any tips?

PS. I love his outfit too!

Thanks, I actually put him in the sink, I put a towel down in and put him there so he's somewhat confined. Then I would give him a treat and while he was munching it I'd hold his head the way I needed it and snip with the other hand. Then at the very end I went back over everything with the electric buzzer.

I told you he would!!! You did a super job!

The "Steddy Cut" looks GREAT on him!!! LOL - Although I have to admit, he looks PRECIOUS either way - he is just as cute as a button...how can you resist that face!

Thanks! I was SO nervouse! I was afraid I was going to botch him up and he was going to look horrible for a few months until his hair grew back out

He always gets me with his face, his expressions sometimes are so human like its crazy! I do like him with his longer hair, I just figured this way it'll be easier for him while his coat is growing out...and this way he and Steddy can have something else in common. Jaden things that would be GREAT friends

LOL, That's what I kept telling myself...it's just hair..it will grow back!

Oh my goodness, attitude! Tell me about it! Jadens on an all organic diet now so no more table scraps and he is not happy about it at all!
Today during lunch he wanted what we were eating and actually barked and growled because we weren't giving him food!

Sometimes I have to put him in his place and remind him who's boss...most of the time though he's my sweet little boy who follows me around like a 10 week old puppy does its mother. LOL

It is too bad we don't live closer to each other, I think Jaden and Steddy would have a blast playing together!

Thanks! I was so afraid I was going to botch him up! The last time I cut any kind of hair was my own, and I was 6 at the time and thought it'd be fun to cut off my bangs with my crayon box scissors
