| this is my Bizkit Bizit is 7 months old and showed signs of being sick,i took him to my vet and he done blood work that showed something wrong with his liver,so i will be taking him back to have the bile acid test done next wednesday. he was not eating enuff to keep a bird alive,so i started offering him anything. finally he eats. i put the water from a can of green beans in his dry food with a few of the beans and he eats it up,and i have also found out he loves cheerios. the vet has told me he may have a liver shunt. i have been going crazy studing up on this on the internet and it really scares me that my baby might die. i have found that a Dr. in knoxville TN. does research on yorkies with liver shunts. i live in eastern ky and it would not be a short drive or easily funded by me.but i have to do something to help my baby...i love him so much. i have tried to insert a pic of him and it wont let me or i dont know how..lol Last edited by kandy313; 01-06-2007 at 06:37 AM. |

| Sorry your little one is sick. I hope the bile acid test comes up clean and maybe the liver enzymes were just off for another more easily treated condition. I will keep you and your little Biskit in my prayers!
