I thought it would be neat to see how long everyone has had yorkies!
Please send in your old photos of your first yorkies: Camille and Feather.
Here is one of mine - back in 1980! Boy, do I feel old now!

I got my first Yorkie in February of 1993...he was born November 20th of 1992. Here is his puppy picture and one of him as an adult. There isn't a day that passes that I don't miss him!

Thank you chechinmipo! Feather the oldest in the photo is a Wildweir and Windamere (daddy was a champion - CH. Windamere Jazzman). And the youngest was from Shelby Stevens in Florida - from the Kibet's & Anderleigh lines. I showed her, but she never grew big enough to breed or attain her champion title. Her Dad was Ch. Jacolyn's Kibets Honey Bear (pg. 103: "The Book of the Yorkshire Terrier" by Bearley). I brought her (Camille) in for her silky coat!

frankie mum - all I did was take photo of the pictures with my digital. Then you don't even have to scan the photo. I used Paint to resize then so they will fit.

my2boyz - what a cutie! You can tell you really loved him!

It is so neat to see the oldies - you learn a lot from the older photo of yorkies, I think!

LOL,wow I really feel old.I got my first Yorkie when I was 6 years old back in the mid 1960s!!!! his name was whiskers and he lived to be 16.our next was Jet in late 70's he was from the Wildweir line also!! he lived to be 17.then came Macca and now Bentley.if I can get whiskers and Jets photos on computer I will try to post them.Whiskers was a big boy.a12 pounder at least.!!

We're newer yorkie owners.

We got our first baby, Bandit, on April 8th, 2005. He was born on January 28th, 2005. Not a day goes by that I don't miss him.

I don't really have any good pictures of him. he was so dark it was hard to get any good ones.

Here is me with My first Yorkie. We got him about 6 years ago when we were first married. He was the cutest little guy ever. this is of him full grown. He stayed dark. He however absolutely STRONGLY disliked my son when he was born. Very jealous. We tried for a year to make it work but it would nto. So he now resides with a dear friend
