| Newcomer I just wanted to say hello to the yorkie community. I am a proud parent of a boy yorkie named Izzy. He's 15 weeks old and is adorable. Im in love. I was never a dog lover up until I decided to get one. Now Im all in! It's been a month now and I couldnt imagine my life without him! Does anyone have any potty training tips? The first two weeks were a bear but its getting better. The problem is, I have to actually put him on the wee wee pad, sometimes he will go on his own other times he will go right outside the pad..not sure if this is an accident or if he is being difficult. |

| This worked for me A friend of mine recomended i use these Arm & Hammer wee wee pads not only do they eliminate the odor of the pee. They also use something in it that the dog will smell and know that they have to go potty on it. It might take him a few times to get the hang of it but that's how my Yorkie learned in like 2-3 weeks and didnt have any problems with him going in other places. They usually sell these at Target that's the only place where i have seen them at not sure where they sell them at. Good luck

| Thanks for the tip! That's funny, I actually use the Arm & Hammer pads from Target...I found them to be much cheaper than the other brands. I guess I have to be a little more patient. This week was better than the last. Thanks again! |

| Hi there and welcome to YT. I'm so glad you'll be joining us at the Holiday Meet-up on Saturday. We're expecting around 20 pups!!! Potty training takes lots of time and patience. Sissy is trained about 99% of the time and she is 16 months old!!
