Mia is so cute - she has so much hair on her little legs!! I buy baby clothes for our two also and alter them as we don't have Walmart and great shops that sell fantastic doggie clothes like you have!

Mia is adorable...I like the onzie outfit idea b/c its short enough in the sleeves that it won't bother them too much...whata cutie pitutie . So I would imagine you have to unbutton when its time to potty? -RubyC

Actually she has a diaper on also. If you look towards her back legs, the blue material sticking out is the diaper. She's working on the potty training but we have only officially gotten #2 down. When she's out roaming the house and #1 comes about, I don't completely trust her enough to go to the paper but I'm keeping hope alive!

Thanks guys! I thought my husband would have something smart to say when he saw her dressed up last night but instead he quickly dropped to the floor and told her how cute she was! I think she knew it too.

| jazzybaby! Mia is soooo cute! I love the onesie ... do you put it on backwards for the open snap to fit her tail? I looked at the little "newborns" for Toto, but was afraid I couldn't alter it to allow for her tail! BTW ... Isn't it amazing, the affect these tiny little ones have on our big macho husbands?!! Toto just leads Patrick around by his beard!! He likes to refer to himself as the "alpha" in our home! I just say "yeah, sure! Pat, we all know who is alpha around here!!!"

Thanks Bettyeanne! Yes, I put them on backwards and I don't snap the middle button to allow room for her tail. These were sized premie which went up to 5lbs (mia just around 3 lbs) and it worked great. I may take it in just a little around the neck area because it hangs a little but even if I don't, it still worked well. I love a bargin and buying these in the baby department only cost me $4 each!

Mia is a cutie pie. I think she knows she looks good. Mia and my Rudy have the same hair color. Does she matt real easy. Rudy is almost 11 months old and his hair texture is changing. He was cottony and now looks like he is turning silky. Just orders some Chris Christensen hair stuff for him. Have heard good thing about it.............Cindy

hmm I feel dumb asking, what are these onesies everyones talking about? I didn't know walmart had stuff like that you could buy for your pup though! She looks so cute (I'm contemplating naming my new puppy Mia!) and it's so adorable that those baby clothes fit her. I've only been to Walmart once, I was staying with a friend and dropped off some film for the 1 hour photo but never looked around really, I just remember it being so big! There isn't even one here in LA at all, probably because they are so big, but when I went to the midwest my friend said everyone went there for everything, even groceries?? I don't think the ones in California are like that. We do have them, like in suburbs, but just not in L.A. It sounds pretty convenient though. Edit...I sound so ignorantly dumb in this post, you'll have to forgive me for that... Last edited by gwen; 10-07-2004 at 07:01 PM.

gwen: don't feel dumb, I wouldn't know either if someone hadn't told me. Onesies are one-piece outfits made for babies. At least that's what I remember. They fit our baby Yorkies just fine, though!

Mia is so cute! I love her little outfit. I also love the dark color of her hair. How old is she? Will her color change much?
