| Introduction of Tristan I just registered for this board, so I thought the best way to start would be with introducing myself and (more importantly) my Yorkie. My name is Robyn. I'm 20 years old, and a sophomore in college, majoring in Special Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. I work in Walt Disney World seasonally through the Walt Disney World College Program. The puppy! http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/ab935...BdtdCBsNqkImBh (sorry if the picture is a little big) His name is Tristan, and he is 6 months old (as of today). We bought him from a great breeder about 1 1/2-2 months after our old dog passed away from liver cancer last November (She was 14 years old and 65 lbs, so she lived a good long life). He has a GREAT personality and he's really smart (and silly, as you may see in that picture!). We aren't going to show him- he's a pet to us. Besides, at 6 months old, still primarily black and tan (with a little silver on his head) with flopped ears and tipping the scales at 11 lbs (from his stature! We don't overfeed our dogs!), I don't think he's eligible! We also didn't want him to have the long coat- we're fine with the "teddy bear" look. We're considering signing him up for agility classes, since he's so high-energy and springy. Have any of you guys put your Yorkies through agility training? |

| Thanks for the alert on the pic! I'll just post a pic in the thread, then. It's not as recent (or funny) as the one there. I'll try to upload that newer pic when I can! He's about 8 lbs there, I think. I don't remember. Last edited by simonandhallie; 02-09-2009 at 09:11 AM. |

| Welcome, he is beautiful. I love the look in the eight pound picture-such pretty eyes. I was wondering about your username (it's cute). At first I thought you had a girl dog named Mickey. Is it because there is a girl (maybe you?) in the Mickey suit at WDW? Ignore me if I'm being nosey.

| Hello and welcome! You've come to the right place! Tristan is so darling! I have a female named Maddie who is about 7 1/2 months. Don't know how I ever managed without her! |
