| Topher and the bra chase.... So much for my quiet Thanksgiving evening!! Well, I was sitting down at the computer last night and I saw Topher out of the corner of my eye...he whipped by me trailing something....I wasn't sure what it was but I could tell by the way he was running that it was probably something he shouldn't have had. How right I was...it was one of my bra's. Not one of my nice ones....noooooo....it had to be one of my old ratty ones (you know...the ones you wear when you're cleaning or painting) It was in the laundry basket in the hallway and Topher just can't stand to see the laundry basket full...he has this constant need to empty it. So off I go to get the bra from him. Removing it from his mouth was no problem...then I noticed that the bra was 'attached' to his thigh! One of the little hooks on the bra got tangled up in his fur and it was hooked in there good. How in the heck did he do that?????? Before I could get it off of him, he jumped from my lap and off he ran! He was running like a scared rabbit, the bra trailing behind him. He must have thought that he was being chased by this big ole thing, 'cause he ran and ran, hearing the noise of the bra hitting the floor behind him! My son had a couple of friends over all day yesterday...they were playing video games in the den downstairs and I was praying that they wouldn't choose this time to come upstairs.. They sure didn't need to see this sight! Those teenage boys didn't need the trauma of seeing my bra (an ugly one, at that) floating through the house!! LOL Fortunately I was able to get Topher settled quiet enough (poor thing was panicking) to get the bra unhooked from his fur. What an uproar. I don't think I've ever seen my hubby laugh so hard in years, the rat. But I guess it was a sight......... But I have to say...Topher hasn't gone near the laundry basket ONCE today....lol....perhaps this cured his need to dump it out? Only time will tell!! |

| LOL. It must be something with Yorkies and bras Buddy took mine off the dresser and somehow got himself into it. The left front leg was in one strap, the right rear leg was in the other one and the boobs was hanging underneath him as he galloped through the house tripping as he went. It must be a Yorkie thing. |

| There is comfort knowing that I'm not alone lol...I'm just so thankful that there wasn't company over or that those boys didn't come up for some food. lol Topher still hasn't touched the laundry basket and it's been over 24 hours! I'm amazed! When he goes for an 'undie grab and run' (LOL) he does seem to prefer hubby and son's fruit of the looms over my 'delicates', though....hehe...not sure why that is! These yorkies are sure entertaining! lol |

| This thread really cracked me up. It reminded me of my first yorkie when I was a kid. Once when we had company, he came running out of the bedroom with a bra on his head. He had managed to have each cup covering an ear, and looked like Snoopy! Everyone roared with laughter...it was hysterical.

| HAAAA, this had me howling! Jaxon loves bras, panties, socks, hubby's boxers - anything!!!! Doesn't matter if it's clean or dirty, he loves it all. I purposely leave the laundry basket on the washer/dryer so he can't get at it!
