| How to Photograph Your Baby? Okay, I am getting frustrated. Every pic I try to take of Sophie comes out blurry. She looked so cute eating her bully stick with her cool new fancy barrettes and her rhinstone collar. But every time I try to take a pic she is movin too much and it comes out blurry. The only pics I seem to be able to take are when she is sleeping?? Help?? |

| what I do is bribery!!! Hold a fav. squeaky toy above the camera to get their attention until they look right into the camera. Praise when they hold the sit/down position and give them a treat. Snap as many photos as you can. YOu will take tons in order to get 1 good shot. Go to an area with good natural lighting. hope this helps! it's hard at first but my girl will work for treats and is getting to be better and better about being a poser! |

| The best advice on photographing a moving puppy is to use a flash. Or, if you are like me and don't like flash photogrpaphy, get as much natural light as possible, in front a of a window but off to the side a bit. Then use a tripod, because with the movement of the pup you want at least ONE thing to be still and the camera will probably be moving while you try to get a pic. Then, set the camera for the fastest shutter speed you can get while still having enough exposure to not have a dark pic. Wait for your moment and snap the pic. I have to take hundreds of pics to get a few good ones, but that is how I do it. It would help to know what kind of camera you are using. Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions, just ask. I am pretty good with a camera so maybe I can help! |

| Also, surprise them with some photos if you can catch them waking up from naptime with a belly rub....they may not be posed pictures, but they'll still be SUPER CUTE! |

| I use a laser light keychain. When I have the camera ready...........my husband stand behind me and points the laser to her head....(never the eyes) I then snap it quick..........bribery works wonders too!

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | I agree with Layla'sMomma. Indoors, use a flash. Then the only problem is making sure the autofocus is focused on the right spot. Some cameras have a little light that shines on the subject to help the focus. I usually press my shutter halfway down and lock in the focus, then wait until you get the expression you want before clicking the shutter the rest of the way. You can do the same thing outdoors without the flash. Press the shutter halfway down to lock in the focus, then wait for the expression you want. Oh, and use treats to bribe them to look at you! Good luck.

| YEP - BRIBERY.... LOTS of BRIBERY... LOL often, catching them by surprise works too but you do have to be QUICK and use the fastest speed possible on your camera with flash... and YES, it does take a million snaps to make a good pic. Of course, with time they get used to the camera and go.... "OH, lemme pose..LOL" thats what Tootie does now. d
