Hi Everyone:

I'm new to YT-- well, not really new, I have been reading this forum for a while, but just recently joined. This is a great site, I really have learned a lot from all of you!

I'd like to announce the adoption of my new baby, Little Miss Sadie Mae

!! Born March 22nd, and sure to be spoiled rotten by me very soon-- as if she isn't already from her current mommie who loves her to pieces as well

!!

She is coming home on July 9th and I'm soooo happy and excited! You may recognize her picture, I am getting her from a fellow YT member, Christy aka TashasMom here on the forum. Christy and I have been talking it up all weekend long, and I feel very good about adopting Sadie from her. She really loves her yorkies, she's a very dedicated mom. Even when tradgety struck her this weekend, losing her beloved Tasha, she still managed to keep in touch with me and answer my questions, and let me know how Sadie was doing, so Thank You so much Christy for that... I promise you that Sadie will get the very best care, and be loved like crazy over here!

I look forward to being an active member of YT! I'm sure I'll be posting a lot of questions, since Sadie is my very first Yorkie. I know all of you great members will help me out! So without further adieu, I introduce Miss Sadie Mae! More pictures soon!

I bet you are sooooooo excited.

When I was waiting for mine, I drove people crazy, it's all I could think about, and talk about. Between my husband and myself, not one hour went by without one of us bringing it up.

They definitely get into your heart, and into your blood in a hurry.

I read that Sadie had found a new home, but i did not know you are a member.
You sound like the perfect mom. I'm looking forward to watching Sadie Mae grow into a beautiful young lady with all the stories of her. She is a real cutie pie, you must be so so proud.

Thank you everyone, for your warm welcome, and your best wishes. You really make a girl feel welcome here! I can't say how excited I am to be Sadie's new Mommie, I won't get her for almost 2 weeks, it's going to seem like forever!

I'm busy getting ready for her, I've already splurged and got her a Celltei carrier. Hey, a girl's gotta travel in style, you know! (I mean her, not me in this instance!

) Here's a pic of the bag, I got the Black one in size Small- it'll take her a little bit to grow into it but I'm sure she'll be okay with some blankies in the bottom and a toy - shh Don't tell my husband

I promise to not tell hubby about the bag but he may wonder what that black bag hangin of your shoulder is with the sounds of puppy coming through lol..
I have already told sadie and anyone that will listen all about you. I showed my friend liz a couple of your emails cause i was so impressed with you..she said you sound so happy ..which is the exact feeling I got from your emails..pllus we love your sense of humor..her and I are quite dingy and we think we are funny lol..our hubbies think we losin it lol..
I too want to congratulate you on becoming a first time mommie of the worlds most spoiled and rottenest doggie..Yorkies know how to work us like you wouldn't beleive lol..
You will also soon realize that sadie will have to have a dresser of her own from all the cute lil clothes she just had to have lol..
My girls have told me they meant for me to get them something not the dogs lol..but those bows are just soo hard to pass up..
I want you to know that I have worried over finding a home for sadie that was what I wanted and you gave me that at a time that I needed some good news the most..so I want to thank you for that..Christy

oh yeah, I didn't think about the puppy barking from the bag thing... ahem!.. I'm pretty creative about sneaking things into the house:

HIM "where did you get that outfit?!"
ME "Oh, This old thing? I've had it for ages!"
HIM "oh."

Or the ever popular, buy it- and keep it in the car till he goes to work- and THEN sneak it in the house trick!

But in this case, since these Celltei bags cost a ton, and I plan to use it right away, I think I'll settle with the "You'll never believe it! I got it on sale for half price!" routine. He buys it every time (or at least pretends to!).

My sister and I are like you and liz. We're so bad, we have code words and everything and crack ourselves up over stuff, and no one knows what the heck we're talking about!

Oh, and the hair bows? I'm not even gonna tell you how extensive her collection is already getting.

Oh, and did I mention that I'm a published knitter?! I see doggie sweaters being made in the near future.... I'm working on patterns.

I've got it bad, real bad... I think Sadie's going to be spoiled with a capital "S"!
