| Mocha's Accident I have never been so scared in my entire life.. Up until 8 :00 everything was fine... Then it gets bad..I got a new bag for Mocha.. Anyway, I was going to my mom's house for dinner tonight.. Without my knowledge, Mocha escaped out of her bag.. I got into the house and opened it and she was gone... I was looking all over for her, and then I found her, LAYING lifelessly on the driveway.. She fell of a ledge at least 15 feet (if not more) and landed on the driveway beneath... When I saw her, she looked like a stuffed animal, no movement, nothing.. I screams and paniced... Thank god my mom was there and she ran down with a towel... Mocha wound up getting up by her self and ran off.. We brought her inside and the first thing she did was go chase the cat around the house... Even though she looked ok, I took her to the ER anyway and they said she is a very luck dog.. She used up her first life.. I will now be so careful with her... I never want to go through that again.. I thought my little girl was gone forever.. Sorrry to long but I needed to share with my YT friends Good night

| Sorry to hear that, I hope she is doing well. Please don't take this the wrong way, but did you have her attached the leash inside the carrier? Does your carrier have a leash to attach to a harness or collar? What type of carrier do you have? Sorry for all the question, just a little concerned.

| I'm glad to hear that. I know if I was in that situation I would have panic and froze up in shock. The reason I asked if she was attached to the leash, is because I sometimes attach cordelia to the leash in her carrier. So I was curious if that latch on the leash to the bag was faulty.

| To be honest, i don't even think there is a leash hook in the bag.. but i see there is. Like I said, i did find a way to keep her from getting it opened... I am just glad shes ok... I am still going to have a rough time sleeping tonight because I am worried she get worse during the nightbut right now she's running around with her little puppy dog stuff animal in her mouth and she chased my parents cat around after she got home from the ER.. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she makes it through these critial 48 hours

| Oh my gosh...your heart must have fallen to your feet when you opened that bag and she wasn't in it...and then to see her lying there! You poor thing! I am so glad she is okay! It's amazing how these little puppies can come through something like that! Not all are that lucky, but I'm so happy for you that she's one of the lucky ones! Best wishes...hope you get some sleep tonight! |

| Glad your little Mocha is alright. They are little escape artists. My Rudy has used up a couple of his lives. When something like that happen the lucky thing is she is ok and you can fix the problem. I am so happy that she is doing so good. Let us know how she is in the morning.

| What a scare! Such a relief she is okay, even as much as we can puppyproof a house, they can still find a way out, can't they! |

| Wow! How scarey! I am so glad Mocha's okay. She must have just stuned herself when she landed. They are resilient aren't they? When we first started using the carrier, I hooked Hefner in but several times I caught him dangling outside the carrier from the harness. I know that hook saved him several times brefore I got the hand of the carrier. |

| I'm glad she's okay. I always disregard that little leash hook in the carrier, but now I'm going to use that for sure! |
