| How much do your Yorkie's weigh? (compare here) When we first got Molly at 8 weeks she was 3lbs. At about 3 months old she was 4lbs. Now at 6 months old, (got her weighed at the vet yesterday, she has a skin infection, little yellowheads!) she is 9lbs. She's already exceeded the standard! ..and I love EVERY lb of her. To me, size doesn't matter at all. As long as their heart is true. What are your opinions and how much do your Yorkie's weigh? I think it's really interesting seeing the massive variations. How much do you (approx) think Molly will weigh when she's fully grown? At the rate she's going now, I reckon she'll be about 12lbs.. possibly more! She's not necessarily tall.. she's just very long! Include pics if you can. Last edited by AmyLeeWannabe; 06-07-2006 at 07:54 AM. |

| It's hard to tell. She may start to slow down on the growth spurt. I was looking at Starsky's chart: 8 wks 2.5 lbs 11wks 3.1 lbs 15wks 5.0 lbs 19 wks 6.6 lbs then I stopped recording and now he is 16 months and weighs 10 lbs

| More to love, eh? Gosh, whenever I look at Molly I still see her as a little 3lbs baby.. It's so weird how fast they grow and change! To be honest, I actually want her to grow more.. I have a thing for big Yorkie's, I think they're absolutely adorable and cuddly. Don't get me wrong, I do like the smaller Yorkie's too! Just in a different way. |
