| Introducing Fly-baby Hello Everyone!!! I am new to this site and wanted to introduce everyone to my little fly-baby "Juliette" http://images.snapfish.com/33%3B64%3...B4%3B994ot1lsi http://images.snapfish.com/33%3B64%3...3A%3B%3Aot1lsi http://images.snapfish.com/33%3B64%3...%3B54656ot1lsi http://images.snapfish.com/33%3B64%3...3%3C2%3Cnu0mrj http://images.snapfish.com/33%3B64%3...%3B54552ot1lsi Just as the rest of you I absolutely love this darling little girl, she is such a joy to have and so tender. I choose the screen name fly-baby because miraculously my little girl can fly Ok I know this is hard to believe and in all theory it's not actually true but this is what happened..... A few weeks ago I went to my mother in laws house and took Julie with me just as I always do.....well she lives in a two family house and her second floor has a back door which leads into the roof (she always keeps a gate at the entrance), Julie was standing next to me and began playing with her dog, just as she always does. Well to make this long story short, don't ask me how she dissapeared from my site and flew right off that roof. Miraculously an angel must have swept my little girl up and cushioned her fall. Till this day I can not figure out how she survived such a long fall or at least how didn't she shatter a leg or something. Anyway, I thank God that she is fine because I would have been devastated, she is the only friend I actually have. I'm sure you guys can understand my joy, I just love the way she gets so excited to see me and gives me soo many kisses with her little fish breath lol , she is absolutely wonderful. My mother in law says I treat the dog better than my kids, that's not true at all, it's just that she is more appreciative of what I do for her and she doesn't bitch at me. Well sorry for being so long winded and it's nice to find a site with people who share a mutual interest.

| Yea my little Juliette is such a fortunate little girl, if she was a cat I would say she is down to 8 lives. So FastEddie, how do you do that? I have my pictures in yahoo and the links worked in the beginning I also added the links to an album on this site and I don't see it either.

| Hi Genie!!!!! I'm Mary......well I got the bed on ebay for $12 can you believe it. Here is the link to the individual I got it from and maybe they can get you another one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=4305510374 There's another lady on ebay who has them for $40 and she can custom make the canopy for you: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...319578095&rd=1 I'm addicted to ebay. Anyway, my little Julie is 8 mths old and weigh 3 lbs and is about 9" long. Her birthday and my birthday are on the same day, I love it, makes her even more special to me he-he-he.

| Oh she is soooooo cute! She MUST have a guardian angel to protect her from that horrendous fall! When my son was in college, his ferret somehow fell out of his third story window and lived, completely healthy and fine and enjoying wandering around the apartment complex! He had a guardian angel, too! All your links worked for me...... Welcome to YT, by the way! Glad you're here! |

| Welcome to YT, Mary & Julliette!! The pictures are adorable ... I wish Toto didn't insist on going "naked"! I guess I should have been more persistent when she was younger ... I'm going to try harder this winter, so maybe she will at least wear a coat!! I will keep showing her the pictures of Julliette and maybe she will get the idea!

| Hey Bettye, it was breezy and in the 40s when we were camping, so I put Higgins' little red sweatshirt on him and he loved it! When we first tried it on him a few weeks ago, he didn't like it. However, it DID keep him warmer when we were camping so he loved wearing it. Maybe when it gets cold, Toto will like her coat. And then maybe we could try a little sweater....and a hat.....sort of sneak up on 'em.......I think I'll get out some yarn and start him a sweater........ |

| The 40s in Maine in the summer is what makes for great sleeping! It also helps to have a doggie cuddled up beside ya! I have Pogo right under the blanket with me -- my personal heater! Don has Higgins, who likes to sleep on TOP of the covers, thank you. I put that sweatshirt on Higgins at night, too, so he wouldn't be cold. He needs a nightshirt.....and a little stocking cap....... Ya gotta be tough to be a Mainiac! We only have two seasons, ya know: July and Wintah! And this year July was so cold that we didn't have Summah! Actually, it has only hit 80 degrees 5 days this summer (in August). It has been downright cold and kinda damp, which really isn't the norm for our beautiful corner of the world. Now you know why so many of us love that wicked good Florida sunshine in January! |
