| What inspired your yorkie's name? I was just curious....and thought it would be fun to share "why we named our pups what we did!" I would love to hear your stories! Here's mine: My husband and I were married on the beach on Sullivan's Island, SC, on February 28, 2004, by the lighthouse. (Click here to view our wedding album) We named our puppy after our most special place, Sullivan's Island (and the Sullivan's Island Lighthouse!) His whole AKC registered name is "General Montgomery Sullivan" - My husband is a WWII buff and his favorite WWII historical figure, I guess you could say, is the british General Montgomery. It was a fight with my husband not to name our pup "Monty"!!! (But, Sully it is! And we really think it suits his little face!)

| My boyfriend, for some odd reason, named himself "Fred Johnson". He plays this game on the internet called Counter-Strike and his nickname is "Fred". I thought it was cute because it reminded me of the dog that Little Ricky had on I Love Lucy, if anyone of you guys watch it. I love that show and I STILL watch it ! My first instinct was to go with Tyson because that is such a cute name! But, instead.. it's Fred! If I'd had known any better, I would have named him the Sock Monster. |

| We discovered the name Chachi watching the Happy Days Reunion Special. My 4 year old daughter was insistant that his name was going to be Jewels. A month and a 1/2 later we went back and purchased a girl so now we have our Jewels.

| Tia was named by me after a character in one of my favorite books and movies as a child, Escape to Witch Mountain. I still haven't decided on her registered name yet. Sandy was named by my children after the loveable squirrel in Spongebob - Sandy Cheeks.

| I had a long list of names for a boy but none that I really liked. It was almost Quinn (The Mighty Quinn) but half the people loved it and half hated it. My niece had a hamster named Gus Gus (from Cinderella) that passed away right before we got our puppy so she wanted to name him that in his honor. LOL It fits him perfectly too because he is cute but not all that smart.

| Since I became an "accidental" yorkie owner I had never thought of names for dogs so when I was blessed with Simon the poor little guy didn't have a name for a few days. Then one day I looked at him and he was growling at me and chewing on my toes and I suddenly thought of Simon Cowell from American Idol and that is how he got his name. It suits him perfectly! When I got Hallie I was only supposed to be fostering her but we fell in love and I adopted her. I thought of changing her name to Sadie but stuck with Hallie since she was already 2 1/2. However what I really call them is Simon Sassy Pants and Halliebug. |

| Ok so, I'm a geek... Sheila is named after the tank in redvsblue . Call it irony.... Sheila is about 2.4 pounds at 4 1/2 months but she thinks she's huge Here is a short description of who (what?) she is named after. Sheila, originally named Phyllis, is the AI of the Blue army's M808B Main Battle Tank. She seems friendly enough, but, being a tank, she's got a habit of blowing people up (including her own teammate Church, thanks to the poor piloting skills of Caboose and the indiscriminate nature of her auto-targeting system). Sheila gets bombed to death by Sarge's dropship early on, but is repaired by Tex a few episodes later. She seems to despise Tucker, and calls him a retard over and over when he tries to drive her. She also seems to like Caboose at least a little (she's the only person in the canyon who does), however, she ends up falling in love with the robot Lopez, and the two of them elope. She appears to understand Spanish, and thus is the only "person" in the canyon who can comprehend Lopez. At one point, she and Lopez attempt to lead a robot revolution against the humans in response to the perceived abuse suffered by the Gulch's robots: being constantly blown up or possessed by ghosts (even though the others also suffer same), but after Lopez is kidnapped by O'Malley, she puts her differences aside to help retrieve him. | My boyfriend thought of the name Hercules for our little boy. Of course because he was soo tiny we thought that would be a great name. Then we decided to keep with the God/Goddess theme by naming our little girl Athena. We looked up the names of Hercules' wives and things like that, but they just weren't really very good names. We thought Athena was pretty, so we decided to go with that.

| I love love love the wedding album!!! What a gorgeous, fun wedding you had!!! TyMyBo is so creative!! My little boy who is 6 months has the formal name "Teals' Macho Playboy" so we call him Hefner. I had Teddy, (I can't remember the name of the dog in the movie "Sweet November") and Lil' Soldier (the breeder's name). We decided on Hefner becaus ehe really really is a Playboy!! My little girls' mother's name is Champagne Lifesgtyles and the father's name was Maximillion and she is an exotic parti-colored gold/white yorkie so we named her Champagne's One in a Million. My daughter gave the "call" name of Chai because Chai Tea is her favorite and it matches her coloring. She looks like Chai! My oldest daughter's dog's name is Buddha. It was evident for the very beginning even as a puppy that he was a "wise old man". As compared to Hefner he is much more calm and even tempered and his name is perfect for him. |
