Cute puppies! I have a question? Did the cold hurt their paws?

We had Shelby with us on vacation last week and after a couple minutes in the snow she froze in place and screamed! I *had* to run out and buy her some snow boots at the local over-priced-designer-pet store.

How long were your pups out there without complaining? Alaskayorkie doesn't seem to have a problem.

What is with my dog? Southern CA bitch?

sounds like she is spoiled and complaining about wet paws. lol

ours were fine staying out there playing to their hearts content. They were timid at first but once i threw them into a pile of snow they were fine.

I wouldn't say I didn't/don't' have a problem with booties. I literally chased him around the house every day for two weeks and made him wear them. Then I'd hold a treat in front of his nose and make him walk a couple steps. Finally, he just gave up. He STILL hides when he sees me grab the coat and booties, but he no longer lifts up his paws in "agony" when he's outside.

I know what you mean about COSTLY ONES. My God! I grabbed some a couple weeks ago thinking they'd be $5-$6, and when I got to the car I realized they'd charged me $18 or something. Just be careful not to lose them, because they have a tendency to fall off.

Almost forgot: Shelby is adorable! Looks like she's got enough hair to stay warm, too!

Hey, LaMan and Ma&Pa.....those babies are getting BIG. (Well, comparitively, at any rate.) Seems like only yesterday you were waiting to get them. How time flies when you are having fun, huh? Cute pictures, by the way, no matter who took them.
