| Good find! Nice job researching. We didn't do the tape across for Yoda, but that should work as well! :P |

| Ears standing If your pups ears have a lot of hair on them, shave them off at least 1/3 of the way down. The ears will also droop down during teething, or sometimes after they receive shots. Unless you are going to show the dog, it is not important for the ears to stand, but a lot of people do want them up. I have seen yorkies with the floppy ears, and also those that have not had their tails cropped and they are all adorable. |

| Wow, you know, never even crossed my mind that they had their tails cropped... I found a way to put the tape that no one can see it.. I put just a little bit inside the ear right on the tip with "transpore" tape.. It is clear and breathable. No one can see that there is anything. I haven't removed them in a week. Yes, I also shaved that 1/3 tip of hair. Thanks for the tip. -R Quote:

| Flop earred Otis [[FONT=Arial Black]My yorkie is 1 and a half. His ears never stood up. At first I worried about it and called all around to see at what age they usually went up. My sweet Otis's ears never stood up and it gives him so much personality. Sometimes when he's listening hard they will flip up and it looks so cute. I love my little flop earred baby. I can't imagine him any other way. I wish I had the means to show you a picture (no scanner) He's adorable. [/FONT |

| droopy ears I have a 12 week old female. Her name is "LaiLa" She been a wonderful addition to our family. She seems to have droopy ears and I've tried taping. She dos'nt mind it but it looks silly. I read several threads that say trim her ear tip's so I am going to try that. Wish me luck. Either way she our little baby anyway |

| do nothing. Let your yorkie grow as god sees fit. If his ears are meant to stay up they will stay up, if the flop they flop |

Bella Boo & Diggy Too! Donating GS Member | Diggys have been up and down 4 times thru teething I did not tape to help them stand. I cut the hair on them about 2 weeks ago and they have not flopped since. I seriously believe that teething has a lot to do with it. Good luck and you got lots of great advice here! Post some pics when you can!

| This is my first post but I am really wanting to know how to tape my yorkie's ears. I've tried to find a place on the internet to show me how but I don't really understand how. I'd like to see pictures or something. |

| nuggets ears went down the first time we moved...then one went up before the other...personally i would have loved it if he stayed that way...if they're meant to be up they'll go up i dont really believe in taping ears...
