| Louie got a top knot...kind of! Louie's hair is finally starting to get longer on his head, and he got a top knot...kind of! Hah! It was a horrible first attempt, but it can only get better from here, right? Louie is almost 16 weeks old and 3 pounds soaking wet. I love this little guy to pieces! |

| lol, Louie is just toooo cute, I LOVE that lil face. Starting him at this age to have a top knot is excellent. I have had 4 female yorkies, all now have passed. They were such tom boys, I couldn't put a top knot on them, if they didn't get it out one of sisters would drag them around the house until that clip, barrette or band was out. Now I have a rescue boy, 35 + years of owning yorkies I am still learning how to do a proper top knot lol. Good job dad, you did good for a first timer. :-)

| Top Notch! Handsome I looked at a lot of videos and read a lot of advice on top knots. The most important tip I was given was to not make them too tight as it can damage the skin. It took time, but I trained my girl to lay down with a rolled up hand towel under her chin for comfort and wait patiently while I put it in - sometimes a single, sometimes a double joined together. Our pup's skin does not like latex so we are careful to get latex-free elastics to avoid red, itchy skin. I can tell you're loving having your new pup just like we did! |

| Max has always sported a top knot until his 1 yr birthday! I would brush out their top knot. ( Max and his 2 sisters) every morning. But not sure why I decided it had to go...probably since I hate hair in his eyes and it was always flopping in his eyes. A different looking little guy! |

| Louis you are so handsome! Very good 1st attempt at a top knot! My Minnie is JUST now getting patience for it at 7 months...I practice with her everyday and she will finally sit still. It just takes them a bit to learn |

| He is adorable! We gave up trying to get Max and Sasha top knots. EVERY time we tried he sits there and chews her rubberband off and then she chews his off!

| Louie is so adorable with his new top knot! I also second that getting him used to top knot at an early age is a great idea. Scottie's been rocking his top knot since the first day I got him too. I think he loves his man buns https://www.instagram.com/p/BSh04C_D...ttie.and.casie You can also consider buying from your local drug store the fabric-type of band that reduces the snagging of hair. I use one called Goody Ouchless Gentle Elastics for both of my babies.
