A Yorkie with her Cat Sister Since Mia got sick, her kitty sister is allowed to cuddle up close with her and her other kitty sister was even allowed to lick her back. I think they know she’s not quite herself? About Mia feeling unwell: http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/sic...-restless.html

I love it, Duchess and my cat Zoey (RIP) hated each other and kept their distance. In fact, on the night Zoey passed away, she (her spirit) came back one more time just to tease Duchess again. I am not kidding, Duchess would not stop barking at the chair my cat always slept in. I knew it was Zoey taking that one last swat before crossing over the rainbow bridge.

Thanks! Mia is doing much better since she's on calming meds and it seems that the antibiotics is clearing up her lungs quite a bit. But since she's feeling better, the cats are dead to her again! Well... not really 'dead' per se, rather, when she spots one of them, she stalks them (much like a cat does) and chases them all around the house.

Thank you! It is amazing what one small little calming pill can do! If we miss a dose, she almost immediately relapses to a scared, frantic and confused little baby. I guess we will never know what exactly happened to her. We've even wondered if maybe she had a stroke but her behaviour doesn't quite fit the stroke symptoms and surely calming meds won't help for stroke survivors? Anyway, I am just so relieved at this stage...
