| Purebred? We adopted a stray Yorkie. Do you think she is mixed with anything? She is about 9 lbs. http://i65.tinypic.com/2z8nq6t.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/70uf13.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/30ataat.jpg |

| Aww she's a cutie! Yorkies come in all shapes and sizes, and many that are not bred to standard, so that is why you will see lots of yorkies over the 7 lbs max, and with different color coats, head shapes, etc. You can't be sure unless you get a DNA test and even then I hear they are not 100% accurate. Did you find her as a stray or she was picked up as a stray and you guys adopted her from a rescue or shelter? If you found her on the streets, have you tried to see if she has a chip?

| Has she been checked for a microchip? She is adorable and seems well kept....you may be holding the key to someone's heart! But if there is no owner missing her, then you have quite a little doll there! |

| Sorry for taking so long, she was a stray at a pound for 2 months. At risk of being euthanized they reached out to rescues and a local one here took her. So she had almost 3 months to be claimed. According to the pound she was on the streets for a while. She had been shaved super short at the pound because she was a giant ball of matting, and that's how long her hair has grown before we got her. She has no microchip. Don't worry, I wouldnt just keep a stray dog off the street Last edited by Toastie; 03-04-2016 at 05:57 PM. |
