| Is she a yorkie poo & what should we name her?! We are picking her up tomorrow. She is being sold as a yorkie poo 1 1/2 yrs old about 5lbs. We think MAYBE she is a maltese poodle (maltipoo) or maltese yorkie?? Is there a such thing as a solid white yorkie poo?? What do u think?? The lady says her friend was moving & she got her to avoid her going to a shelter but she can't keep her. We're getting her regardless of what she is. IF we were to breed her it is important to know. I might have to do a DNA test. Thanks & I promise no matter what u guess or say it won't hurt my feelings. I think she is a pretty girl no matter what. I also need ideas for a name .. pretty please!! Thnx.

| She is beautiful, whatever she is! The white makes me think of Maltese cause the hair is straight and she has a Yorkie nose to me but I'm not the expert here. Congratulations and thank you from keeping her out of the shelters. Btw: what is her original name???? Last edited by buddybear; 09-17-2015 at 09:27 PM. |

| What ever she is she's a cute for sure. I would think if she was a yorkie poo she would have dark color as dark colors are predominant in dogs that are breed with white dogs. I would go more with maltese / poodle, as maltese are white and there are white poodles. She is adorable no doubt about that. As far as names lol, I have had many puppies, all unplanned, so I never had a name floating around in my head, I would live with her, watch her personality, you can get a name by this method. Good luck with her and please do keep us up dated with her new life with you. We LOVE puppy stories.

YT 1000 Club Member | I think she looks like a Maltese mix, but mixed with what is hard to tell. A DNA test might help. I personally would not breed a mix dog as you are only to get even more mixed puppies. I would keep her as a pet and get her fixed and love her. I have Yorkie Mix puppies and as cute as they are I would not want to be mixing them with other breeds because you have no idea what you will end up with when you start mixing even more breeds in and you end up with an Heinz 57 dog. My puppies are from a purebred Powderpuff Chinese Crested mom and a purebred Yorkie dad. I just had them both fixed because adding in more breeds is not what I got them for. They are the best puppies and are adored here for being pets. Good luck and let us know if you find out what she is mixed with. She is beautiful no matter what her mix is.

| She's beautiful - please don't breed her. Rescue her and love her as a pet or allow her to go to the shelter so she can be spayed and rescued by someone else who will love her as the beautiful pet she is.. |
