| Meet our 5 month old Bella G. Hi, his is our little Bella girl at 5 months... She just had her last set of shots, along with her Rabies vaccine, and her first heart worm prevention treatment today! We are looking so forward to watching her grow into a beautiful adult Yorkie. We hope to become active members of the forum. |

Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | WELCOME and congrats on your new baby - she is gorgeous! Such a sweet face. Looking forward to getting to know you and Bella. Sidenote: in the future, it's probably better to not get the rabies on the same day as the other shots.

| Will it hurt her? We are looking for a new vet, This guy doesn't seem to know much about Yorkie pups at all. I asked him about giving the shots together, He said she would be fine. What happened was, we went for her Rabies, and 5 month exam, and to ask about the tearing under her eyes, (a small amount of tearing, but we wanted to be sure non the less), He said she needed 2 more DCPP-3 (she already had a set of 3). We have done so much research about the "3 or 4 sets" thing, and he is one of those vets that do 5. She seems to be doing wonderful. Very active and playful as always. OH! The tearing he said was totally normal, as long as it is clear, and not green or yellow. |

| P.S. Bella's tearing is clear, and I guess his thinking on 5 sets is because Parvo and other dog illness's are bad in this region) So we have 3 weeks to think that one over. |
