| It looks like your picture did not post. 7 weeks is really early to be away from his momma. It is recommended that yorkie puppies remain with their mothers until 12 weeks. They learn a lot of socialization skills and one of those skills is when it is acceptable to bite.

| Wow, 7 weeks is pretty young. Usually you don't get your yorkie puppy until they are 12 weeks of age. |

| biting mouthing is how they learn about their world. nothing wrong with him - specially at 7 weeks. not behavioral = more like learning his world. make sure to keep a very careful eye on him and do some searching here in the Search section for things to do when you get a puppy that is too early. some of those include getting some nutrical and having that on hand. you will also need to be more understanding because normally mom teaches a lot about life in the 6-12 weeks. good luck and he's a cutie if it's the one in your avatar!

YorkieTalk Newbie! | Dear All, 7weeks was very young to get my Alboy, I rescued him from a lady over breeding Yorkers. He was healthy enough to be taken away from his mom who was 11montha old at the time. He has many little issues i.e bad teeth, skin irritations etc His biting was a behavioural issue and has since been fixed with lots of love and play time. He is now 4yrs old and a happy little chappy. The breeder has since been s**t down and my boys mom passed away at 2yrs old from a heart attack. |

| He is SO adorable. I also got my Jasmine way to young the owner called me up & said if I didn't come get her that day I couldn't have her at all & she was going to be giving me my deposit back. I had already searched high & low for the "right girl" for me & Jasmine & I just clicked so I didn't want to leave her. But I was disappointed in the breeder cuz I was going to ask her to keep her a couple exta weeks so she could be with her mom & sibling longer. Anyway she would also bit but I was advised to just yelp a little like a sibling pup would do if she got to rough & she responded perfectly to that & learned to control her nips so they weren't painful. She wasn't being mean she just didn't know. |
