| She is a healthy but not fat 6.5 pounds on the dot (we had her weighed at the vet Monday) and she will turn 7 months old on Sunday. Deb told me she expected Cookie to be in the 8-9 pound range full-grown when I got her at 14 weeks, and Cook looks like a good bet to hit around that weight. I think the larger teapots in the 10-12 pound range seem to usually be 8-9 pounds or so by this age, and she'll surely break though the upper level of the breed standard of 7 pounds. I like that Deb breeds for strong bone structure so I don't have to be worried about her making short jumps off the couch, though I have had to train her to stop making the higher jumps off the armrests of the couch. Cook is quite athletic, which is I guess to be expected getting a pup from a great breeder who really aims for health first and foremost.
