| Introducing No Name Puppy I've been looking on and off for a Yorkie puppy for a long time now. I originally wanted to go the rescue/shelter route but couldn't find anything I liked and when I did, they wouldn't adopt to me because I own an intact dog. I show him in conformation so I was not going to neuter him just to get a puppy from them. I found this little girl listed on Craigslist. An older couple had her and decided that they couldn't keep her because their grandson was too rough. Technically, she belongs to my aunt but we live together so she's mine too. :P She's about 5 months old and obviously from a BYB. She's darling! She is super playful and is full of attitude. She's just what I like to see in a dog. Unfortunately, my older dogs are not happy at all. Bayleigh is really stressing and I really thought she'd like the puppy. She's been drooling and hiding most of the time since bringing the baby home last night. Pirate wants to kill her. I knew it could happen and I don't blame him, it's in his breed, but it really bothers me because he's ok with most dogs. I had no idea he'd react that way to this puppy. Emily is the only one who doesn't mind her. So, because of the Pirate situation, I may not be able to keep her. We've been doing crate and rotate and so far so good. My aunt isn't a big fan of it though and I understand her concern. Pirate has calmed down some since last night. I know it's only the second day and they all still need to adjust to the new arrangements. That said, if we choose to rehome her, she will be spayed first, no exceptions. I love her already and we just want the best for her and if that means not living with us, so be it. I will not contact the people she came from. I think they meant well but she's not in the best condition. She's really matted everywhere and I think our only option is to shave her. Her belly is a solid mat. She had poo matted in her back legs and feet but we've gotten most of that out. She was infested with fleas. She had a bath last night and this morning and she still stinks. We are welcome to name suggestions. So far, Paisley is at the top of the list but I don't want a -ly name. I already have Emily and Bayleigh. We need something different, preferably not a human name. http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps5076d4a4.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps43d7fad2.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...pse2fda724.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps7823270f.jpg http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps217f83ad.jpg Bow mishap! http://i65.photobucket.com/albums/h2...ps990b909d.jpg

| She is really cute! I would be worried about the bigger dog hurting her, though, and no matter how long you have her -10 days or 10 years- you will always have to monitor any interaction between them very carefully. That said, I think she is adorable and hope it all works out so you can keep her. You like the name Paisley but no ee sounds? How about naming her Paisley but calling her Pip? She kinda looks like a Pip to me.

| Oh my, I wasn't expecting such a beautiful yorkie after reading your description! Pip is a good one! I like Piper too. Sticking with a P might be helpful and less confusing for her. But I'm sure it doesn't really matter - they adapt so well. Congrats and I hope things work out. If they don't let us know where you live. She's adorable!
