| Anyone else have a yorkie that does this? I cannot figure why he likes to lay on the back of the couch. He will even sleep if I don't catch him up there. lol

| He's short! All mine like to get up on furniture where they can see all around. Get on the floor and pretend you're him. You'll get a birdseye view of what he sees from any given spot.

| Ok that does make sense. durf lol It just amazes me he does it. I know cats are tree dwellers. So the cat does not shock me. Bentley just looks so silly especially when he's laying all sprawled out on the back of the couch with one side draped over the front of the couch and the other side draped over the back.

| Max loves to be up on the arm of the sofa. I think it makes him feel like he can see what's going on around him |

| My Sophie will lay on the back of the couch or climb up to the back of where ever I'm sitting and lay across my shoulders/neck. I think it is a small breed thing. My mom's scottiepoo does the same thing.

YT 2000 Club Member | Two of my girls do and one doesn't. However, when I am sitting down usually the three girls are on me. They are my Velcro babies most of the time.

| Pixie loves to get up on the back of the couch especially if I am vacuuming. I think she thinks that is the safest spot.

| ZoE does it too. I don't mind her being on the back of the sofa or chaise lounge in the living room, as both of those are in front of windows, so should she topple off the back, just a few inches down is a windowsill. She likes to perch on both & watch the world go by. But, I don't like her being of the back of the sofa or loveseat in the basement, as it's a 3 foot drop to the ground, and as they're leather, they are slippy too!

| YES, Nilla loves to do this! A lot of times when I'm sitting on the couch or in the computer chair, she will climb up me and lay across my shoulders. She would rather lay across my shoulders than my lap I'm pretty sure. Do any of you have that going on with your Yorkies too? xD
