| Jessie the con artist This dog surprises me every day.. So she has been amazing at potty on the pad, even running from the room to go on her pad in her crate in the tv room. We have made such a big deal giving treats and praise.. So this morning She has gone and squatted no less then 4 times in the last 15 mins.. frame one is her fourth visit to "potty for a treat" the second frame is how much she has actually gone in 4 times..(its smaller than a penny) I had to give her treats just because she made me laugh the little minx. She actually slunked to get her last two treats I think because she knows she conning me!! |

| Huey will go outside and pretend to potty to get a treat. He now has to show me proof. If I'm not looking and he runs back in for a treat, I tell him "show me the potty" if I don't see the wet spot right off (He goes on the deck. Wet spots are obvious). If he really went, he will walk to the spot and sit down next to it or look at the spot, look at me, look at the spot... If he didn't really go and is trying to con me, he acts all abashed and either walks away or makes a real potty while I'm watching. Conniving little midget...

| okay well that was short lived. I went to walmart for 20 minutes and come home to find she has pooped on the sleeping side of her crate, walked in it and got it all over the crate including her new cloud nine bed! She is in the dog house right now! I am so madhttp://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/images/icons/icon8.gif I had to first wash her then take the bottom off her crate (its five feet long) take it out side, soft scrub it then hose it off. She wont even look at me or I her. Luckily the kids are home so they can take her..I need a dog mommy time out!! |

| LOL! I'm sorry she had the poop accident. For some reason, Mandie has more poop accidents. I think she probably starts in the right place and then walks a little. However, I never really seeing her do this when she poops outside. (I'm making excuses for her lol) Also, the pee for treat - that's exactly why I don't treat reward for potty training. I would do that if I was a pup, too. Ha!
