| Meet Little Piyo My husband surprised me with my first Yorkie for my birthday this year! This is my Little Piyo, born December 14th 2012. I got him when he was 12 weeks old and weighed in at 1.5 lbs. He is currently up to 1.76 lbs but only looks like he's getting chubbier, not much bigger and I was wondering if I could get an estimate on his adult size? We were told he would be at least 5-6 lbs and I'm worried about his health if he stays too small =[ |

YT 2000 Club Member | Piyo is adorable....love the dark hair! I have a little girl yorkie, born December 22, 2012. She was also that size at 12 weeks and is now almost 2 lbs. Unless, he has a big growth spurt, I would estimate him to be more in the 3-4 lb range when full grown....but you never know! How tall is he?

| Oh so cute. Bright eyes, wet nose, healthy looking coat. As long as he's eating I'd say just based on the pictures you have a healthy pup there. From what I have heard, double the 12 week weight. But just based on my Bentley, I can say it's not 100% correct.

| Thank you everyone! He is perfectly healthy according to all his vet visits I just wanted to make sure because he is my first yorkie and I read about so many health problems with them being too small I was scared! I'm not exactly sure how tall he is, I've never checked but he's pretty small...as the picture shows, about the size of a house slipper lol. He's wonderful though, a very healthy eater and always full of energy! |
