Donating YT 500 Club Member | Alfie getting better So even after a second opinion we are still not sure what is going on with Alfie. But, we have a referral to a vet derm who will be back from her holidays soon. He is scratching and biting a little less, may be partly to do with all traces of the food allergen leaving his system (whatever it is) or the factmthat he is almost constantly wearing customised babygro's for tiny baby, whatever it is I am just glad he is looking more comfortable and can't get scratching enough to break his skin. |

| Good luck with the Vet Derm. I hope you find out what is bothering Alfie. He does look comfortable and adorable.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I am glad to hear Alfie is getting better. He is a cutie. My Cali had such bad allergies and the scratching is so hard on them and us.

| I found the member who was discussing Milk Thistle and here is what she says. I am not sure if it would help and given Alfie's sensitivies ask your Vet. I am trying this for Buster as he has certain scratch spots that he persistently goes after and I am trying to figure out how to ease that as well. Quote:

The last few days we have been able to keep his cone off most of the time which is such an improvement. And yes we keep baby socks taped on so when he does scratch he can't draw blood. Hopefully we are on the road to recovery but if not after the next 2 weeks we will look at some of the suggestions I have had here. | |
