| Hello, help! I'm new!! Good morning everyone. My name is Simon, over a month ago I bought from a breeder in the Uk a Yorkshire terrier. Well, at least this is what I wanted to buy. I was looking everywhere, I was researching and I thought the breeder was honest, I really fell in love with the puppy and I went for it. Time passed by but sometimes I wonder if my Yorkie is a pure breed or not. I know this is the eat forum to ask so I will post some pics and hopefully I'll get some answers. By the way, with the Yorkie came a Pedegree too, which I eventually changed and put under my name. This pic is from when I got it. I was trying to upload new ones but still I need to work out how to do so... Sorry! |

| Thank you very much for being so nice to me. I was concern because in the past I had a Yorkie but her colours especially on the face were slightly different. Archimede's face is not as red as my previous one and is head is almost cream instead of being read, as you can see from the pics. Plus I thought his nose, not sure how to call it in English, was longer than it's supposed to be. I don't know millions of questions popped to mi mind. I keep reading this forum as an external but today I've decided to join in. There's so much for people like us, people who share a common thing. Love for yorkies and dogs in general. Thanks for listening to my silly thoughts! |

| not silly at all. yorkies come in so many shapes ,sizes and colors that it's hard to believe they all the same breed.. they are all unique in their own way.. scan thruough the yorkie pictures section and you will see.. Last edited by MY OSCAR; 11-22-2012 at 03:42 AM. |

| Definitely looks like a Yorkie! I have 3 and each one looks different...... One of my boys is much darker in the face than the other 2.... and my little girl (a "senior") gets lighter as she gets older. Welcome to YT!
