| Bike Ride This is what happens to a dog that will tolerate just about anything to avoid being left at home. After seeing several posts of bicycle baskets, I ordered the Nantucket Bike Basket, a helmet and doggles for Wendell. We have gone out a few times and he LOVES it. Here are some photos from last weekend. I love the basket because it will keep him protected in case we tip over. I'm not sure how much protection he will get from the helmet and doggles, but he sure looks cute and doesn't mind wearing them. Last night when I picked up the basket to put it away, Wendell came running, wagging his little tail furiously and jumping around in front of me. I ended up putting him in it while I carried the basket downstairs. This is his basket Nantucket Bike Basket Company Cisco Pet Bike Basket with Quick-Release - Free Shipping at REI.com |

| So cute! I love the basket. It looks like he's enjoying himself I've thought about a basket, but wonder if my two together would weigh too much to be on the front?

| That is so cute! I have a bicycle basket and my two will have no part of it. Maybe if I took off on the bicyle and left them at home....

| Wendell weighs about 6 lbs, and his weight combined with the weight of the basket and metal cover does make steering the bike feel different. It took some getting used to, but with a little practice I've gotten used to it. Wendell doesn't move around much inside the basket. If two dogs would move around more, it might make it harder to steer. The web site where I got the basket said it is safe to carry pets up to 10 lbs. |

| That is too cute... I looked at baskets for my bike but I really do not see Guinney being still long enough for me to even latch the basket closed lol |

| I love this! We don't bike around here for pleasure because it is so hilly, but when we go to Hilton Head, Columbo rides in a bike basket. It is flat there, and fun to bike all over and take him with us. |
