| Yay! So cute! What a darling picture of Yorkie ears standing up! I've had Yorkies since 1987 and am a self-confessed "ears up" snob. Now I have my new 14-month old baby Cassie whose ears are very large but are floppy and do not stand up. I toyed with the idea of taping them as I have for puppies with great success in the past. But I'm not sure if her ears could stand up at this age. Should I leave her with floppy ears or try to get them to stand up? My snobbery is no more, by the way. I would give it a shot if there's a possibility or leave them floppy because I love her no matter how her ears look. Any opinions?

| awww to cute, love his ears. 4scrappy I would just leave his ears alone, they will stand up. Sonic's ears are huge when he was little one would stand up the other would flop down, now he is nothing but ears it's the first thing you notice when you see Sonic lol |

| Do you think they will stand up at her age? She's 14 months old. Any tips on encouraging them to stand up at this late stage? I don't mind leaving them floppy but I think it's better for the ears to get air. My understanding is floppy ears are more susceptible to ear infections. Do you think taping them would work? On the other hand, when she prances around, her hears flop in rhythm with her bouncy walk and it's so precious. I can go either way but should I give it a shot?
