| You should start one! Lots of people have yorkies. It's great to meet other people in person that live our go as much as you do. On that day we had 13 yorkie mommies show up with their pups. They are all so cute together. The other yorkie in that picture is the organizers dog Chloe she's 8 months old and probably the smartest yorkie in the club. they were both in my lap... They're the best of friends |

| Yes I do! For our group we are based on meetup.com but they have yearly dues there so you would also have to fundraiser at each meetup . Ours asks us to donate a dollar each meetup since its 19 dollars at a month to use the site for the oat. You should check there first if there isn't already a meet up group in your area. There are other sites you can USE also but I find meetup.com to be the most popular. We do 1 off leash event every month such as at a dog park or in someone's back yard or at a pet store that allows us to use their room. And 1 social event every month such as walking all the dogs together somewhere nice as a pack and going for coffee after or all going to a dog event where someone is speaking.to advertise you can attend other meetup groups and hand out cards to the yorkie parents. The same goes for people you meet that have yorkies or people they know. Word usually spreads fast. There's also Facebook and twitter to use to spread it to your friends. It's always good to do a yorkie/ toy breed meet up together. Let me know if you have any questions. |
