| Can You Eliminate Yorkie "Red Eye" in Pics? Or green eye or yellow eye or blue eye? I end up taking the same pic a million times & only getting one good one. The puppy blue eyes are cute, but fuming yellow & green look pretty weird. Is there any trick to eliminate or at least reduce this from your pictures? Thank you.

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Don't use a flash. Or you can try putting something over the flash to diffuse the light. I've had OK results by cutting up a piece of paper towel and taping it over the flash. If your flash rotates, you can try bouncing the light off the ceiling. I've tried Fixing it like you'd fix redeye on a human, with Photoshop or similar program, but it always comes out looking phony.

Thanks for the Jillie comments. She's amazing. Such a wonderful personality. I had to dig around to find some Lillie pics, but you're right! They could be sisters! Hope you hang around

| I guess I never thought to just go without the flash, that should work most of the time since it's usually pretty well lit in the house. I can turn it off or switch settings but don't know much about it "rotating". It's a basic Kodak Easy Share so I doubt it does anything too fancy. I've tried photo shopping, too, & it looks pretty messed up. Their pupils are so much bigger than ours so you really can tell. Thanks.

| No flash is always best, but if you have to use it, you can also diffuse it with a small swatch of nylon from panty hose. The nude color seems to work best.

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | I have a little spot light I use, and for some reason even if the flash goes off when this is on, there's never any glowing green eyes. I just shine it towards his face. Here's the one I have, you can clip it on anything, and it's cheap. Shop Portfolio 5" Adjustable Silver Clip-On Desk Lamp at Lowes.com
