| You look very prepared & organized! What a beautiful puppy pile! Enjoy -- they grow up so quickly it seems like they are ready to go to new homes before you know it. I just loved having the puppies here. I watched them so intently -- much better than any movie! We had a little action, a little drama and plenty of comedy! So much fun! Nothing like a houseful of puppies!

www.revivalanimal.com don't forge to order, 1. Healthy bones tablets, so you can give her one a day. 2. Oracal plus- to use in case her calcium goes down. 3. Nurser maid- I give the recomended dosage of this to the puppies as soon as they are born.. http://www.revivalanimal.com/store/p/2057-Nursemate-ASAP.aspx | |

Donating YT 4000 Club Member | Also a heating pad to keep the babies warm, I got mine from Kmart, make sure you get the one that does NOT have the automatic shut off.. plenty of disposable pads, to use during whelping, I use a clean one for every birth, usually I wrap the placenta in the one she used to have the baby and throw it in the trash to keep the whelping area clean. dont forget the hemostats, you need to clamp the umbilical cord so you can cut it. a pair of childrens dull scissors to cut the cord. alcohol, I use about 2 bottles I keep a glass tall jar full with alcohol and desinfect the hemostats after every birth.. |
