| Hope Lily recovers quickly. They did not shave Rosie's leg. Maybe someone else can answer if they have had that experience.

| Awww!! I hope she has a fast recovery. Is the recovery time on a female longer than on a male? |

| Is it normal for the vet to let you back during surgery? Just wondering, I'm going to have Bitsy spayed and am wondering what questions I should ask. I'd hate to just leave her there all alone.

| I'm glad Lily's surgery went well and I wish her a speedy recovery. Quote:
There is a sticky post in the health forum and in the YT library about pre-op questions: lab work, anesthesia protocol, recovery and pain management, overnight stay and whether or not staff is present.

| They don't let you stay there. The vet was my friend, so she took pictures and send to me. How nice was that?! I also had an idea to cover Lily's stitches. I cut a piece of a sock and put around her. She is 4.6 pounds so worked well. She's is doing well, last night I gave her canned food, today I gave dry food and canned food. She just pooped today and her poop was really soft, I believe is because she is not used to canned food...

| Hope Lily is feeling better soon. My Sassy had an appointment for June 14 but had to cancel, my husband is having a heart cath done that same day. So Sassy has a little more time.
