| Happy Birthday To my Julie Anna Today is my little baby's 3rd Birthday. Bless her little heart, I have had her for about 11 months. I am her 3rd and final home. She was having a few medical problems a few weeks back. She seemed to think she was a starving little girl. I was not sure if she had a medical problem or just a little belly problem. She would eat and five minutes later she was acting like she had not eaten. I took her to the vet, she ran all kinds of tests. And Thank God everything came back great. She did gain 1 lb. in 2 months. From eating the other girls food. I usually fix there breakfast and dinner and while they are eating I go off and do what I have to do, until they are done. That is when I noticed, she was eating everyone's food. This all started about the same time I changed there food. The new food is Blue Buffalo. They like it okay but I think it has to much protein and fat. I got some samples of taste of the wild. So I am going to try that. But it has more protein and fat then what they are eating now. They are not big on running around outside. They do not get a lot of exercise other than running around in the house.Once it gets warmer it will be much nicer. They love going to the dog park and playing in the back yard. It has been so cold for them. Does anyone have any idea on a good food to try. That is lower in fat and protein. I have been really watching Julie at meal time. She seems to be doing much better, No more burping, or acting like she is starving. She is back to normal with a clean bill of health. Had her dental done, so We could rule everything out. Happy Birthday Julie.

| Happy 3rd Birthday, Julie Anna! Hope you had a wonderful Birthday! I used to feed any mid-range protein level food (18-23%) I could find at PetsMart or Petco. Mine all did well on them, although some were liked better than others. Now I feed Life's Abundance, and they all seem to be thriving on it. I like it better too, because I don't spend as much (could never just get their food!), and it's delivered to my door (so I only have to hump it one time, into the house)(great for older folks like myself!). If I find they're getting bored, I switch up the flavors, or I add a little bit of green beans (great for feeling full), cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, pasta, etc... I use probiotics also, to help with their digestive tracts. It helps to break down the food to a level where their bodies can get all the nutrients without working so hard (makes the food more easily digestable)... sometimes if they are lacking a good amount of the good bacteria, the food doesn't break down completely. If a dog has gas, smelly stools and the like, they would more than likely benefit from probiotics added to their diet.

| Kathy, Thank you so much for the cute birthday wish for Julie Anna. What is the protein/ fat ontent in the food you fed? I have been feeding them around 1/3 of a cup with 1 teaspoon of boiled ground chicken mixed in. sometimes a few pieces of sweet potato on top. I have tried green beans as well they are not a big fan. What is the probiobotics. I have heard of it in for adults but where do I get it from? The food, can I only get it online? I have no problem as long as these little monkeys like it. I do not care if I have to drive to Pa to get it if they are Happy with it. I just hate when I fix there food and they walk away from it. I will see if I can get some samples. Thank you so much for your help. Brenda
