| Jack Jack Jack, formerly known as "Fat Jack" also was an adopted guy from the rescue (last one we are adopting, promise!) Jack came to us at NINE (9) pounds...he should only be about 5-5.5 pounds! So, needless to say, he went on a diet. He is currently SIX (6) pounds, having lost a third of his body weight with excercise and portion control. He still likes to camp near the basket with the chips and we think in the yard at playtime, he had heard mommy and daddy talking about salad bars and got carried away (notice the grass on his face from eating it!) I was practicing with the camera on the pic with the paw up, eventually, I am going to get the lighting right, to take better pics so hopefully the fosters get the best shot of finding their forever homes! Enjoy! |

| You have such adorable pups! I love that last pic - it's priceless. So good to see a happy smile on his face.

| Thank you! I post a video of him "quacking"...he doesn't really bark! He quacks! It has taken since late April early to get the weight off, we didn't want to throw him into a starvation mode. It is remarkably similar to people...he dropped a .5 pnd in the first week, then it was slow going. |

| Looks like Jack Jack is waving goodbye to those extra pounds in the first pic. He looks great! Very nice pics. I like the grass on the head one too.

Jack is so cute and extremely lucky to have found such a loving family who consistently stuck with the diet and bringing him back to health. This is wonderful to see and, like everyone else, I adore the paw up and the grass clipping shots... which BTW, in Jack Jack's defense, I am sure he was only trying to help pull weeds Peggy, Monkey & Maddie

| Correction: DAD! Jack is such a cute, animated little one! At least you won't starve with him around, seems to have a knack for finding and guarding the food! Really makes one wonder how these cuties end up needing to be in Rescue! Glad you adopted him, he's a keeper!

Jack was put on the Science Diet W/D, while not a huge fan of Scient Diet products, we do have one that has diabetes and this food is formulated for weight control and diabetic dogs. Jack isn't diabetic, but the vet indicated that with his weight it would be a good food for him and so far it has really worked well.
