| Potty Training Confusion...? Pearl is 8 months old, and she is not fully potty trained...yet! We have been making progress but have heard it's a bit longer process with a Yorkie...versus our Lab - not sure how much truth there is to this..? I'm confused by a particular situation that happened this evening. She hasn't had an accident indoors in a little over a week. We came to my parents' house where there are two other big dogs (our Lab and my parents' pound puppy). Pearl did both businesses outside when we first arrived, but then she proceeded to urinate indoors 3 times within an hour and a half...?! We think maybe she got really excited...but 3 times? She's never done anything like that before. We were over at their house the night before last in the same setting, and she did not have any accidents. Any suggestions/comments?? Thanks y'all! HAPPY FRIDAY!!! |

| Yorkies can be very difficult to potty train.....and yes females can mark.....get a treat she likes and reward her every time she does her business outside....make sure you are taking her out frequently.

| Sounds like marking to me instead of the real need to pee. I have one little girl that will pee anywhere another strange dog has been. Maybe your moms dogs are triggering her.
