| Do you shave your yorkie? Hi all, I have a 10-month cutie (Bax). He's had 2 haircuts, one where I left it a little longer, and once shaved. I think we both like it best shaved, but I know there are different styles of shaving. Any ideas for me? Please post pics of your shaved babies! Here's a pic of him recently! | Elliott got a puppy cut a few weeks ago and they cut him pretty short. These pictures aren't the best, but they will give you some idea of how he looked (the first was taken right outside of the groomer's shop). |

| You can really see the muscles in his legs with his short cut! I like the short cuts too! Especially for the warm weather we have. I am still trying to find the perfect shorter cut that looks best. Too short and Zeus looks super skinny. We need a little length to add dimension. Here is his last grooming photo. |

| I use clippers on Kaji's body and scissors for his face. My old roomie cut him down once and he looked handsome! I've kept his face longer since then. I like boys with facial hair.

| You wanna see shaved? LOL This was a home grooming. I thought he looked awesome. It showed off his beautiful structure and topline. I will add...he looked perfect after about a months growth.

| I'm glad you posted this. I cut bentley shorter and am really considering cutting the girls down even though I said I NEVER would. Lexi's is to the ground and man it is so hard to take care of. Bentley just seems so much happier and he can actually go outside and run around without bringing in dirt and leaves!

| I also keep mine in puupy cuts. It is just so much easier and they hated to be brushed and combed and neither of the girls liked top knots. |

| Yes, I shave body's back only leaving his legs long, tail alittle long and some length on his face. http://www.yorkietalk.com/forums/pic...ictureid=87486 |

| Thanks so much everybody! Bax has a very curly, course coat so he's a puff-ball when it's long. I think yorkies are beautiful with the full coat, but poor Bax just can't pull it off! He's not so keen on the whole grooming thing either. I'll post a pic when he gets it shaved again! |
