| Oh No! Penny got into the brush and got big, green burrs in her head! Took me an hour to get them out... Gosh, I hate these things. Price you have to pay when you live in the sticks.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I hate them too ! and it isn't only in the sticks that those things grow - I can remember going to a vet years ago and let my dog (cocker spaniel) 'do her thing' in the grass (which I didn't want her walking on because it WAS a vets office and sick dogs go there) but yup - hundreds of those stickers got on her legs - it so hard to see them in the grass you'd think a vet would take care of their own grass and kill those suckas with weed killer ps - my apartment's grass has them too and I'm in houston ...which is why when I walk my girls - we stay on the sidewalks. I hate it but have to wait for the months they're gone...I think they come out in early summer or late spring ? |

| You are lucky that she only got a few. My fur baby Jack got stuck in a briar patch and we had to cut him out of it. It was so sad. His chest was stuck to the ground. |
