| MY Pirate of the Caribbean - Tia Dalma Well, here I am, my first thread - I added this beautiful little face to our family of two Shih Tzus on March 14th. I had several names in mind, as we are pirate fans and my Shih Tzu is Jack Sparrow. This little girl was named after the sea goddess in the POTC movies with Johnny Depp. She was almost named Pearl, Belle, Lateka (from slumdog millionaire), Brooklyn New Yorkie, Tetley Tea Cup or Sara Jessica Barker - but when we saw her she just looked like a Tia. I lost my 11 yr old Yorkie, Mufasa to seizures and it has been almost a year since his passing, it took me a while to find someone to fill his space in my heart and Tia is trying her best. She is now 3 months old and was supposed to max out at 3.5 lbs. but she is already that. Mufasa was 5 lbs. and I think TD will be close to that. Tia is a blue and tan which is new for me. I am anxious to see her colors changing. The lastest photos are from Easter. She is getting along well with Jack. I have heard that they shouldn't "wrestle" but then seem to get along fine and are aware of eachother's size. I have been blessed that she is "wee wee" trained and very regular with her feeding and potty visits. Enjoy her photos and I hope to share and learn alot from everyone on the site. |
