Sophie's in the HOUSE! OK don't look for pics just yet...that tot is a perpetual motion machine! I swear she NEVER NEVER NEVER lays down. Last night she slept on my lap for maybe 20 minutes...then off she goes. She has not, yet, completed her 'sweep' of the house. He nose goes & goes. I think she is ADHD...she'll be hot on the track of one smell then off she goes to something else. She does the same thing with the boys & us. She'll be following one & opps...YOU smell more interesting so I'm going with YOU now. She does the funniest thing to Kevin, me & Duncan (the cat)...(I hope I can explain this) she follows us & at our ankles (or D's haunches) she opens her mouth & runs her teeth on our skin! She doesn't nip she just touches us with her teeth!!!! Does anyone have that happen? Must be a Texas thing! Everyday I see more & more of her little personality. She is so precious. Oh, Georgia is going to be jealous when I tell you that she gives Kevin & I kisses several times a day! She is using her puddle pad to pee but poops on the floor by one of the sliding glass doors. SHe doesn't seem to get the outdoor potty thing..do ya'll think it would help if I put her on a leash when I when I take her out & keep her til she potties? Our backyard is fenced so the boys just know. NOW..this is where I need some veterans HELP...several times a day Keegan & Sophie get into it....mean nasty stuff! It tears me up! I want them to get along. I hate to say it but, I think, it's usually Sophie who instigates it....it's hard to tell. The way I deal with it is to separate them until everyone is calm. It's never a specific thing that happens it's like it's out of nowhere! Shoot, Clarence (the 12yo) & Duncan the Cat have even taken to sharing a bed to keep away from her!

I guess I SHOULD have told everyone that this post is about Sophie, my rescue, that my husband flew to Texas to get. They had quite a time getting home. Which included an overnighter in the cold Atlanta airport! Geez...sometimes I forget that my Sophie is just not the only thing on y'alls minds!!! Sorry!

It is so hard when our little ones get mad at each other. I just jump in and stop them like you. Then I sit down and talk to each one. It seems to be helping. Tell your husband, I know about that Atlanta airport. We were there on Valentines day, coming back from picking up our new little man in Missouri. We had to run between flights to get our connection! Poor little boy, got jostled around so much he threw up! I felt terrible. Best of luck, keep us posted about how they are doing.
