| The Gate!!!! Well, I bought a gate to put up in the hall because my hubby works evenings and he works alot of overtime. Sometimes he works 16hr shifts and Lucky would go back to the door and scratch. Well, that did'nt work. I was missing Lucky this morning so I went looking for him. There he was on the wrong side of the fence. He had chewed his way through. lol. I could'nt beleive it. He has a mind of his own and when he gets something on it you might as well forget it. I turned the fence upside down so the hole is on top. Maybe I will get another week out of it. lol

| LOL little smartie. He's adorable. That brought back memories of when Buddy was a pup. I bought a plastic child proof gate that was 32" high. I left him in the kitchen and put the gate up his first day free of the crate. When I returned home he greeted me at the door! WTH, he jumped the gate. I couldn't belive a Yorkie could jump like a deer. That continued all week until I bought another and put one on top of the other. It looked like there was a Rottie in the kitchen instead of a 6lb Yorkie These guys are just to darn smart for their own butts. |

| I had the exact same thing happen with my first yorkie, Spencer...it was a plastic gate. I now use the plastic coated wire gate...they can't chew through this. Mine could never jump that high...so now Winston is safe and secure while we are away from home.

| You didnt think that little old gate was going to stop him did you? Buddy is 3.4 pounds and jumps them also. We have to put up 2 at a time as well, but my 100 pound lab will stay in one thats only up to his knee.
