New here and wanted to say hello I wanted to say hello and share picture of my furbabies. Kissy and Natasha are not siblings but were both born at the end of November. I got Kissy first and then decided I wanted to get her a play buddy so I got Natasha last weekend. They have different personalities for sure. Kissy has no fear and Natasha is more reserved. Natasha was very shy about having her picture taken and Kissy is a little poser if I can keep her still long enough. I'm ashamed to say I didn't comb them before their photo shoot and they are waiting on the bows that have been ordered for them so they are naked shots. In the mean time I'm practicing on putting their hair up without a lot of success so I hope to improve before their bows arrive. I have learned lot of new things from this forum so I wanted to say thank you to everyone. Jennifer

Hello and welcome! I am a newbie as well. So far, everyone has be so great and I am thrilled to be part of this community. I have three yorkies and they bring lots of joy to my life. I think that your babies are absolutely adorable and I wish you a lot of luck with them as they grow up. However, I remember when I bought my first yorkie Teddy. The breeder asked me if I was prepared to have a baby for life! She said that yorkies are forever babies and I should expect that they will never grow up as we know most dogs to do when they get out of puppy stage. My yorkies are really babies and I love them like they are my children. LOL my kids say that I love my furbabies more than I love them! Welcome again and keep us up to date on your babies progress.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I had to be very careful when selecting a new family member because my son has allergies and the Yorkie breed matched our needs plus their so stinking cute. I used to have a Chow Chow before my son was born. He traveled over seas with me when I lived in Germany and returned home with me as well. As an adult he was my first furbaby and he was totally spoiled. I rescued him from a bad situation and was devestated when he passed many years later. These little girls wont want for love and attention. I look forward to spoiling them for many years to come.

There are not littermates but are just a matter of 4 days apart in age. I didn't have a specific number in mind but I knew I wanted them to be close in age and size development. My children are 10 years apart and I didn't want to go through an age gap with my furbabies. lol

| Thank you so much. There are so many beautiful furbabies around here. They have been doing pretty good on the potty training. They have their good days and not so good days but they are getting the hang of it. Natasha liked to chew the potty pad up so I got a holder and some bitter apple spray so that issue has been solved so far. She also had the habit of playing with (eating?) poo but we got that under control after a couple doses of Potty Mouth. We practice clicker training 2 or 3 times a day and they have a few commands down pretty good. They follow the command to sit, lay down, come, and stand pretty. 'Stand Pretty' happend by accident but were going with it anyway. It was Natasha's idea. Of course if they get distracted all bets are off that they will listen but they are making good progress. Sometimes Kissy just wants to lay in my lap but Natasha is always up for earning a treat. Some days it's 2 steps forward and one step back but were working on it. I have found some excellent advice from people on this forum. I can't thank everyone enough.
