| Puddin' Pics! Not very many, I'm afraid, as my camera batteries chose today to die! But here are a few I got on her first day at home. There are pics and a write up about her on my blog at A View from the Other Side

| She is six weeks (I know...but this is South Africa and things are done differently here...and at least I am an experienced dog mama). I don't know her size, but I am taking her to the vet on Monday to get her weighed and measured so we have a baseline to work from. She is eating and drinking well, has used the puddle pad several times, is sleeping and playing, and the Maltese have both met her now. Candy is afraid of her!! And Nash, the little old man, wants to lick her all over! Will get more camera batteries tonight, hopefully, and more pics will soon follow.

| Six weeks is so young - but that's the way we used to do it here in the States, too. You have other, older dogs who will probably try to teach her how to be a "dog". She is so precious, such a tiny little bundle. And she looks so sweet in her little crocheted receiving blanket . From one Puddin' mommy to another, I hope you have many long and healthy years with your little Puddin' Pie Last edited by Lee B; 02-07-2009 at 09:01 AM. |

Thanks for the compliment on the bed...I thought it came out rather nicely. I also made pads and a cover for her crate from the same fabric. My husband rolled his eyes the whole time I was sewing and crocheting, but now that Puddin is here and the stuff is turning out to be useful, he's stopped.

| The breeder didn't dock it, so I have myself a long tailed Yorkie. It's fine with me...she's already shown us she knows what to do with it!!
