| puppy does not like to eat My 16 weeks puppy weighs only 1 1/2 lbs and only like to eat when hand fed. I am worried about not hand feeding her due to hypoglycemia. I have tried canned, softened hard food in warm water, and a little turkey baby food. Any suggestions |

| you should post this in the general yorkie forum. Try feeding him some nutrical puppy so that his sugar levels won't drop.

| Mine was like that and is still sometimes like that since he was a 12 week old pup when I got him. I gave up feeding him commercial food and he is now on homecook and he will more often that not volunteer to eat himself. Sometimes I have to start him off meaning hand feed 1-2 pieces of food and then I walk away and he'd eat the rest or I just sit next to him if I am free and he'd eat the rest. Mine just seems to like to have some company while he eats. I think it is their personality. Mine wouldn't even rush for his food with competition...there was once his Yorkie friend was here, he just sit a distant away let his friend eat first
