Our Intro! I just wanted to introduce myself and my yorkie, Lexi. I just got her on Wednesday, and I already have fallen in love with her! She is very active, cute, sweet, loves her mommy and daddy (me and my husband), and is just an all-around great puppy. The only problems we have encountered so far is a flea problem (that seems to be hard to fix), and housebreaking. Other that that, she is perfect. I am so excited to have found this website, and I hope to share my excitement with other yorkie lovers!

WELCOME!!! what a beauty! Try a liquid dish soap for the flees. If you search Fleas on here you'll find a post about them that tells you the exact brand.. i can't remember off hand. or maybe another member can come on here and help you out

It's Dawn Dishwashing Soap that's been recommended to get rid of fleas.

I have tried Dawn, some shampoo from the vet, and some flea and tick stuff for the back of her neck. None of which has helped. I feel so badly for her, because all she can do is scratch. I have read your flea section, and I've tried a lot of things, but all I can see is a lot of stuff that has helped for some, and hasn't for others. I just wish there was something that helped everyone, lol. My husband is going to fog our home and then during that time I am going to clean my kitty and Lexi with the Dawn detergent. Hopefully that will work.
