| Oliver is all grown up! Hey everyone! I haven't posted here in a long time but I wanted to come show off my baby boy all grown up. He is a yorkie poodle mix and is now a year and 3 months old. Isn't he the cutest?! Aww I love him. Just looking at pictures makes me smile. 1- Stylin in my blue polo shirt! 2- Hanging out in my favorite place... the backyard! 3- Showing off my boy parts to the ladies 4- Before a grooming. hahahaahahaha!!! This makes me laugh everytime. I have to admit I love him the most looking all shaggy because its funny... but he looks homeless! hahaha. And as a total side note (and I know this is the wrong section but thats okay!) what is everyone's experience like with luxating patella? He started limping about 2 weeks ago and I took him to 2 vets (one of which has been seeing him since the day I got him) and they both recommended the surgery. I am scared to put my baby through that but I can't stand to watch him limping around! He has been breaking my heart for 2 weeks now! |

My little Shadow Donating YT Member | He is a most handsome little guy! I can't help you with his health question, but hoping to bump this for you!! Good Luck & keep us posted on Oliver! You can search under Health/Diet section for luxating patella too. You should find stories/experience of those with this.

| What a cute little boy! I'm sure someone can help with your LP question. I just wanted to say what a pretty color your baby is!

| At the vet last week he weighed 9 lbs, but that was before the groom so it probably took a pound off! haha I'm just kidding. I wanted him to be smaller but now that he is a little bigger I love it! He loves to be picked up and held and isn't too heavy but is still big enough for me not too have to worry about stepping on him. I thought he was going to be about 7 pounds but that is okayyyy. He is the absolutely perfect size! P.S. He is in no way perfect though. He is a little devil! I had hell to pay with him as a puppy but now that he is getting older he is FINALLY calming down some. Thank goodness! We call him the "cuddle bug" now because he just wants to sit with you and be loved on. It's AWESOME! Far cry from him as a baby.... |

| Aww, he is adorable!! What a handsome boy he is!! I don't think I have ever seen a yorkiepoo with their ears standing, it looks so cute!! I have a yorkiepoo girl, she is 9lbs, is black, chocolate, and tan and has floppy ears. She is soooo energetic but the smartest dog in the house!!

Yep, Oliver is the smartest dog in our house too! He was potty trained in about 1 month and actually turned it into a game-- see how many times I can pee in one trip so my mommy will keep giving me treats! haha. And we have a gate to block the dogs (we have 4) from getting on the carpet during the day and he has figured out how to unlock the gate in less than 3 seconds and get back to the carpeted area! hahaha. Its so funny to watch, although he is so bad! Oh, and he doesn't always hold both ears up! Sometimes they are one up, one down. They were like that for months when he was a puppy! I wanted them to either both stand up or both lay down-- but the nickname "one eared Olly" was quite cute! I was so happy when they finally both stood up. Now I hate it when they go down because he looks so sad! Last edited by AshleyRhea; 08-13-2008 at 07:14 PM. | |
