| My little Pixie..recovering from her spay surgery.. As some of you may know..Pixie was spayed on friday..she also had 7 baby teeth removed..I had been putting this off for months because I was so scared of putting her through it..she's 13 months old and just under 3lbs. I'm happy to report she is doing brilliantly! I don't know why i made such a fuss! lol It's only day 2 and you would think she hadn't even had it done! I'm having to watch her like a hawk of course and make sure she doesn't get too energetic! Check-up at the vets tomorrow..she's been a model patient! I took these pictures the evening after her surgery so she's looking a bit tired bless her.

| So glad to hear she's doing so well! Lexilyn was done Monday. Also had 2 baby teeth removed and 2 dewclaws. She's doing good now but we've had our hands full keeping her from licking her stitches. I followed the advice from veteran YT'ers and bought a baby onesie which after some modifications worked great to keep her away from her belly but we're having a time with the paws. Stitches out Tuesday. Hopefully then things will get back to normal. |
